FROM "SPECTATOR" TO "PARTICIPANT

We are reclaiming our streets, our schools, and our dignity, one block at a time. Whether you have five minutes to follow our journey online or five hours to get your hands in the soil, there is a place for you here. We believe that true renewal doesn't come from the top down—it starts at your front gate.

Our role is to be your catalyst. We don't come in to "manage" your space; we come in to empower you to own it.

Ways to Get Involved

1. Join the Digital Conversation

Stay informed and inspired! Follow our journey, see our "waste-to-value" transformations in real-time, and get tips for your own home garden.

  • Connect with us: Find us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • The Inside Track: Join our WhatsApp Group for direct updates on upcoming activations and community news.

2. Activate Your Block (Invite Us!)

Ready to transform your street? If you organise your neighbours and your community, SoshCAN! will come to you. We provide the strategic support, creative ideas, and the "how-to" to help you reclaim your local spaces.

READY TO BE THE CHANGE?

3. SOSH-CAN! for Schools

We help schools turn environmental care into a living classroom. Contact us for:

  • Waste Management: Establish creative programs that make recycling fun and practical for learners.
  • Food Gardens: We assist in designing sustainable gardens that feed the school program and the community.
  • Healthy Living: We teach learners the value of self-sufficiency—knowing exactly where their food comes from and how to grow it themselves.

4. Become a Volunteer

Nothing beats the energy of a SoshCAN! cleanup day. We are always looking for passionate people to join our next activation. It’s a chance to meet your neighbors, contribute to a beautiful Soshanguve, and—most importantly—learn something new. Whether it’s a new composting technique or a waste-to-value skill, you’ll leave with more than just clean hands.

Our mission is to support you in looking after your own space. We provide the spark and the tools; the community provides the long-term custodianship.
